Although this might be considered another piece of my work inspired by listening to music, it is true to say that an album or song title can be enough to spark a concept in my mind. This was certainly case in this example. The very title fixed the scene as one of a snowy landscape. Although there are no 'steps of ice' as such, I envisaged a climb up to loftier heights. The castle in the background is a small reference to a previous work and you will find it recurs in numerous places.
